Mother Love Series

This collection of work explores the theme of motherhood and child-rearing in a society marked by division and negativity. Amidst the backdrop of challenging political and technological landscapes, I, both as an artist and a mother, endeavor to shape and guide my children towards a positive outlook, fostering love, outdoor play, and a deep appreciation for nature. Within this body of work, figures emerge from heads, symbolizing growth and mental enrichment, while a maternal relief delicately graces the stomachs of these figures. Dangling arms convey the familiar sense of losing control that we often experience. Through my ceramic figurative sculptures, I aim to ignite a vicarious journey into the innocent wonder of childhood, inviting viewers to explore the captivating realms of mental transition and growth. These pieces symbolize the collaborative interplay between subconscious and conscious forces, serving as metaphorical illustrations of our individual transformations into beings of unique individualism.
